The Big 2 0
Tommorow is my 20th birthday. Yep, that’s right people, I am going to be officially in my twenties. Not that I really consider myself a “teenager” now. There seems to be a big difference in the way 19 and 20 sound. I doubt that I am going to feel any different though.
I do not know what exactly that I am doing for tommorow. It’s going to be a surprise, planned by Matt. This is what I do know.
-
I need to dress nice. (How vague)
-
It’s going to be in the metro area.
-
I will be there over night.
Hopefully it is some sort of theater/musical performance.
Itching for some singing
I’ve been thinking about joining a choir at B.S.U. I need an area of emphasis for my major, and I already have a few choir credits from my freshmen year at Morris, as well as a drama class and 8 credits from my May Term abroad with my choir, so I think I could pull of an emphasis in the performing arts. Last year I was in the Morris Concert Choir, which met 5 days a week, plus sectionals, plus concerts, plus I was on the Choir Council. That was feasible when I only had to work 10 hours a week, but I work double that at JCPenney’s. I would like to go on another choir tour abroad. The one I went on last summer was to Scandinavia. The scenery was beautiful, especially in Norway. This is a a photo taken outside of one of my hotel rooms in Norway. It would be cool to go back one day, but first I would like to travel to Greece or Italy. Perhaps after I graduate from B.S.U,( and find a job with income that would allow me to do so). Until then I will just dream.
